The Association has continued to try to engage Landwey Investment Company, the developer of Milton Estate, to complete the development of the estate. However, Landwey has been playing a game of hide and seek, leaving the estate in a near-abandoned state. Listed below are the actions taken to engage Landwey to fulfill its promises:

February 2022 - November 2023

Numerous visits by individual subscribers to Landwey’s office to get them to resume work.

August 2023

Milton Estate Residents Association (MERA) was formed.

October 2023

Legal representative of MERA wrote to Landwey to demand specific performance.

October 2023 - January 2024

Several emails sent from the Association’s official email seeking dialogue and the resumption of work.

November 2023

Milton Estate Residents Association (MERA) incorporated

April 2024

The association’s delegation visited Landwey’s office to draw attention to the situation and seek performance.

June 2024

Members of the Association staged a peaceful protest in front of Landwey’s office.

August 2024

Petition started on www.change.org https://chng.it/c4Hc57Twhv to compel Landwey to resume work at Milton.

September 2024

Members of the Association staged another peaceful protest in front of Landwey’s office.

October 2024

A delegation from MERA held a recorded Zoom meeting with Mr. Wale Ayilara, during which he reiterated his promise to resume work on-site by the end of the month. MERA requested a formal letter of commitment outlining the resumption of work and timelines for project completion. Subsequently, a commitment letter was issued, confirming that Cluster A would be completed and delivered by March 31, 2025.
